Why Halkon Hunt

Halkon-Hunt market leading bespoke angling apparel company based in the UK. Specialising in High-end water and windproof based clothing for comfort in harsher conditions.

This newly developed range puts their materials and manufacturing into our own Guru and Mainline Match designs, with GORE-TEX® waterproofs and WINDSTOPPER® softshells built around how anglers actually fish.

Fully waterproof 3-layer shell for rain and harsh weather. Reinforced where pole and net work wears kit out.

01 · Pole Jacket

Two weights of 3-layer GORE-TEX®

Tougher fabric across the shoulders and upper back, plus an extra high-durability layer on the forearms. Lighter fixed hood and body so it's easy to move in.

02 · Windstopper Jacket

Windproof without the sweat

WINDSTOPPER® ePE fabric keeps the wind out and stays breathable. Thick fleece inside, reinforced elbows and three zipped pockets.

03 · Bib & Brace

Double-layered where you kneel

Seat and forelegs are double-layered for pole and landing net wear, and the thighs are reinforced too. GORE-TEX® tech made to move, built to last.

04 · Over Trousers

No pockets. On purpose.

Pockets are a way in for water, so there aren't any. Two weights of 3-layer GORE-TEX® 28,000mm waterproof rating, reinforced knees and seat, and a raised back that stays put.

05 · Softshell Jacket

Windproof without the sweat

WINDSTOPPER® ePE fabric keeps the wind out and stays breathable. Thick fleece inside, reinforced elbows and three zipped pockets.

Hems cut for fishing

WINDSTOPPER® tech makes them Ideal to wear under your bib & brace or over trousers for extra warmth during winter featuring elasticated waistband with drawcord to ensure a comfortable fit

Get the right fit

Sizes S to XXXL across the range. The Bib & Brace, Over Trousers and Softshell Bottoms come in Long and Short leg. The Bib & Brace Long fits a 31 to 32 inch inside leg, Short fits 28 to 29 inch.

Good to know

Do I need the whole suit?

No. Every piece works on its own. The WINDSTOPPER® softshells are made to go under the GORE-TEX® waterproofs, so on cold, wet days they work best together.

What's the difference between Guru and Mainline Match?

Branding & Design. The suit fits exactly the same. Both share the same fabrics and features.

Which leg length do I need?

The Bib & Brace comes in Long (31 to 32 inch inside leg) and Short (28 to 29 inch). The Over Trousers and Softshell Bottoms also come in Long and Short.

Why are there no pockets on the Over Trousers?

Pockets are a common way for water to get through to the clothes underneath, so we left them off. If you want pockets, the Bib & Brace has two YKK® water-resistant zipped pockets.

Can I wear the softshells on their own?

Yes. They're windproof and finished to shrug off light drizzle. When proper rain comes in, put the GORE-TEX® on top.
